杉山吉茂(2008)による教師の3つのレベル
講義を聞いていると、また教師をやりたくなりますね!
レベル1:数学的な知識、足し算・割り算のやり方など解き方を子どもに伝えることができる教師。
レベル2:数学的な知識・解き方の意味や理由を伝えることができる教師。
レベル3:子どもに数学的知識・解き方を理解する/考える機会を与え、彼らの学習をサポートできる教師。
→こどもたちは自ら学ぶようになる!
◆ 3 levels of teaching (Sugiyama, 2008) (Translated by A. Takahashi, 2011)
Level 1. The teacher can tell students important basic ideas of math such as facts, concepts and procedures.
→They are NOT called professional teachers in Japan.
Level 2. The teacher can explain the meanings and reasons of the important basic ideas of math in order for students to understand them.
Level 3. The teacher can provide students with opportunities to understand these basic ideas, and suppot their learning so that students become independent leaners!
